How To Make Your Own Graduation Invitations

Whether you are looking to save money, or you just want something special and unique making your own graduation invitations can be fun and easy. These ideas and step by step instructions will help you create your perfect homemade graduation invitation.

The first thing you need to do is decide on the theme of your invitation. The theme of the invitation can be as simple as your school colors, or more elaborate such as your party theme. You will want to choose the color of your invitation and buy coordinating paper. I would suggest buying two or three coordinating colors. You also want to purchase any embellishment that you will want to use. For your graduation invitations I would recommend choosing graduation theme embellishments such as graduation caps, small graduation scrolls, and year embellishments. Be sure to pick things that fit your personality, you want your invitations to reflect you.

When you start to actually make your invitations you will take your paper and fold it into the shape that you want. I like to cut one piece of paper about 1 inch smaller then the other then fold them together, so you have a layered look. Then depending on how many colors of paper you have, you can either write the information directly on the folded paper, or you can make another square of paper and glue it onto the folded paper.

You then need to put all the pertinent information on your graduation invitation. Make sure you put the time and date, the location, and if they need to RSVP. You have two choices when it comes to putting the information on your invitation. If you have nice handwriting it will look great if you write out your invitations by hand. If you don't want to write them out by hand you can print all the information on your printer then glue it to your invitations.

The next step is to personalize your invitations. If you want to, you can make each invitation exactly the same or you can make each invitation a piece of art and make them all unique. You can put as many embellishments on the front of the invitation as you would like. It looks nice to put a large embellishment with the year on each invitation, that way it can be remembered years later. This is the perfect to put all your personal touches on your graduation invitation. If you want to put a picture of you on the front it would be cute and personal, another very personal idea is to put a quote on each invitation that means something to you.

As you can see making your own graduation invitations can have fun and make sure everyone remembers your unique and personalized invitations. Everyone will be impressed at how wonderful your invitations look, and you don't have to tell them how fun and easy they were to make.Read more info paper writing services source of this claim is here
